Beth Lawler, LMSW
Beth (she/her/hers) works part-time at the DBT Center. She believes that providing therapeutic support for individuals and families is a calling and that change happens when individuals and families are ready. She helps her clients set goals based on their wants and needs, meeting each person where they are, helping them to move to where they want to be.
Beth received her Bachelor’s degree in Management from The Johns Hopkins University and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Her focus during her clinical program was on mental and behavioral health.
She has experience working in community-based residential inpatient programs, adolescent substance use intensive outpatient programs, mental health intensive outpatient programs, and private practice.
Outside of work, Beth is a mom to three wonderful persons and a dog mom to two quirky and fun four-legged babies. She enjoys reading and soccer and her very large extended family.
