Ilene Marto Atiyah, LCSW-C
Ilene (she/her/hers) believes in a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to support her clients to live a life worth living. She is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work with a focus on Advanced Clinical Practice. Ilene also holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from Georgetown University. Her experience includes working with adolescents, young adults, and adults on their behavioral and mental health challenges including providing DBT Prolonged Exposure Trauma Therapy. Ilene previously worked in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) setting and also served as a DBT Program Director.
Prior to social work, Ilene worked in international financial services and nonprofit leadership. She is married with two young adults of her own and enjoys cooking, reading, running, traveling, and spending time with her beloved family and friends. Ilene has a multi-cultural background and is fully licensed in MD, VA, DC, and NY.
