Amanda Lewis, LGSW
Amanda (she/her/hers) earned her Master’s in Social Work at Simmons University. She trained in DBT through Behavioral Tech. Amanda chose to specialize in DBT for its effectiveness in helping people reach their life-worth-living goals through practical skills and mindfulness. Her approach to therapy is also informed by feminist and social justice perspectives. Amanda has worked with adults and adolescents in outpatient and community settings and has experience supporting clients with trauma histories, mood disorders, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Before entering the social work field, Amanda worked in humanitarian aid and international development.
Amanda enjoys being outside, walking, biking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
