Marian Hwang Schill, LCSW-C
Clinical Director

Marian (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical social worker with intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).  While in graduate school, she participated in Columbia University's DBT Training Program, which consisted of intensive training and research in DBT with suicidal adults, adolescents, and correctional populations. She has experience providing DBT at various levels of care, including IOP and day treatment. Previously, she was the clinical director at the DBT Program at Embark (formerly Potomac Pathways), where she led the development of their DBT-IOP and DBT Day Treatment Programs. She has experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, substance use, BPD, OCD, and trauma, and works with both adults and adolescents. She is trained in DBT Prolonged Exposure for the treatment of PTSD. As one of the clinical directors at The DBT Center of Greater Washington, Marian oversees all DBT programming and provides clinical supervision and training for therapists. 

Marian is certified as a DBT clinician by the esteemed DBT-Linehan Board of Certification.
